August 3rd was my birthday. The kids and I spent the day driving down to the Oregon Coast, where my father-in-law has a house. We stopped along the way to shop for school supplies and food for the week's stay. I got an angel food cake and the kids sang to me before we ate it. Can't believe I'll be 40 next year!!!
