Jonathan's friend Luke spent the night on Sunday and then hung out with us the next day (Memorial Day). The weather was gorgeous, so we went to Subway to get some sandwiches and then headed to the beach. We brought our new orange blow-up boat (Jonathan found it at Big 5 and thought it would be so much fun). The tide was way out. Jonathan and Luke walked way out to the water and actually swam. Jake and Jayden loved the boat (though Jayden insisted that I pull her and noone else. She was a little uneasy when the boat would rock). There were eagles flying overhead the whole time- something I try not to take for granted living here! We stayed a couple of hours (got a little cloudy so we left), but we still had fun!
