Much to Jake's horror and disgust... I have been diligent about keeping up with his reading homework over the break. He has only been given 3 days off. He is reading quite fluently now. I just wish he enjoyed it rather than seeing it as a chore. Jayden loves to look at books at night. She, Jake, and I have particularly enjoyed the Christmas "Where's Waldo" type book and have spent hours looking for Christmasy things on the pages. I can just hear Jayden's little voice saying "Just ONE more mama- ONE more." (stalling to go to sleep). And then she doesn't like me to find the things- she likes to do it herself.
